What you get

• Quarterly estimates that are actually yours. Federal and state, worked out from your own income, your business type and your filing status — not a flat percentage of what you've earned.
• Safe harbour, tracked. Enter last year's return once and the tracker knows what you have to pay to be penalty-proof this year, however good the year turns out to be.
• Income, expenses and mileage in one place, with bank statement imports that learn how you categorise things.
• Relief-specific bits the general bookkeeping apps don't have: per-clinic rates, licence and CE renewals, invoices, home office, an emergency fund target.
• Your books stay yours. Export everything to CSV whenever you like. If you ever stop subscribing, you keep reading and exporting what you entered — cancelling only stops you adding more.

You'll need a phone with an authenticator app on it — signing in needs a six-digit code as well as a password. These are your tax records, so that isn't optional.
